About Will Webster

Will Webster is a pseudonym taken from my maternal grandfather. I never knew him, but I look just like him in the few photos my grandmother has.

I was born in 1989, in Brussels, to a South African couple. I grew up in Pretoria, South Africa. I married the most amazing person in the world in 2022, and moved to Hong Kong, where I finally got to begin living the dream of becoming a published author.

I’ve been writing since I was in primary school, I studied journalism for my undergrad, and then anthropology. I spent seven years as an editor and writer in corporate communications, before moving into marketing.

Currently I freelance as writer and editor, and I’ve become resident writer for Voidwar Games. But my primary focuses are my family, and my aspirations in novel-writing.
