A week of painting in a nutshell

Over the past week, I’ve been delving back into painting. My grey pile of shame is far too large, and I’m forbidding myself from buying more miniatures until I’ve cleared it (or if there’s like, you know, a really good deal on a bunch of miniatures, obviously).

I’m prioritising the models I put on the tabletop, and I’ve recently been doing that with my aeldari rangers. So I figured I should do them. They’re only five models. Quick gig, right?

Precision airbrushing requires a lot of Blu Tac.

Cloaks and armor done, on to the fiddly bits

Skin, hair, gems and leather pieces done. Decided to not go full-black on the guns, so had to whiten them up again

Guns finished with wooden stocks. Volcanic ground added.

Finally finished my highlights and terrain today.

So that was a good use of free time for a week. Now what to paint next?
